2022 Irish National Division 2
The 2022 Irish National Division 2 Competition will take place from Wednesday 6th to Sunday 10th July in the UL Arena, University of Limerick
Please be aware that if a swimmer achieves one Irish Summer National time, they can swim that swim in Irish Summer Nationals. If they have qualified for other swims at National Division 2, they can swim those events at National Division 2. However, they cannot swim the event in which they have a qualifying time for Irish Summer Nationals. If they achieve a 2nd Irish Summer Nationals time, that will exclude them completely from National Division 2.
If a swimmer achieves a faster upper cut off time at a Short Course meet, they can swim that swim at National Division 2, but only as a exhibition swim and will not progress to the final.
A reminder to all clubs that you must apply for accreditation passes for all athletes, coaches and team managers via the JustGo database - this will be live in the coming weeks
A technical briefing will take place on Monday 4th July @ 20:00 via zoom. Attendance at this meeting is strongly advisable. Not being represented at the briefing means that a Club is agreeing to abide by any decisions made at the meeting. Click here for the meeting link

Overseas Meets that have been approved for qualification for Irish Meets
Clubs attending Offshore meets may nominate these for qualification for Irish National Meets. Approval must be sought from Swim Ireland in advance of traveling and Hy-tek results must be sent after the meet. If the meet do not use Hy-tek, you can find information on how to produce a Hy-tek results file here. Clubs must be in possession of a valid International Permit for the results to be accepted
Individual swimmers from clubs who are resident primarily overseas DO NOT need to seek approval from Swim Ireland for their meets however they should send their results to their home club who should forward these to Swim Ireland in Hy-tek format (as above).
Swimmers registered with overseas clubs (and not registered with Irish clubs) are not required to have meets approved but will be required to show proof of entry times when entering a meet.
